But...wait. Before you slap that bad boy on your wall, mirror, door (or countless other areas!), make sure you take this quick crash course in what we like to call “How to Apply Wall Decals 101.”

What You’ll Need:
Now that you have everything ready, class is in session! Let’s get started:
Make sure your wall, etc, is ready for the vinyl decal. Grab your cleaner and wipe it down, making sure it is free from dust, dirt and is clean and smooth — and dry! Take the time to let the surface dry before moving on to step 2.
Place your decal exactly as you’d like it on the surface. Use a ruler, tape measure and pencil to mark the edges and make sure it’s level and straight before applying.
Remove the transfer tape and align it to your measurements. Make sure it is positioned where you would like. Place it on the surface, making sure it is level, straight and exactly the way you want it! Smooth it out as you go.
(No, you don’t need to buy anything — except for more vinyl wall decals after you see how beautiful this one looks! ;) What you will need is to use a credit card or a squeegee to ensure the vinyl decal sticks to the surface. Firmly apply pressure as you move across the transfer tape with the decal underneath. Be sure to take your time to push out any air bubbles to prevent uneven sticking.
Be patient and take your time with this step. Pick a corner and slowly peel back the tape from your surface. If any part of the decal remains stuck to the transfer tape, put it back on the wall/surface and use your card or squeegee to push down again. It will eventually adhere to the wall just fine.
